Our mission is to bridge the gap between education and employment by providing structured, mentor-led internship experiences that equip participants with practical skills, professional confidence, and industry exposure. Through our network of startup partners, experienced mentors, and career coaches, participants work on real business projects that strengthen their portfolios and prepare them for university admissions and future careers.
Unlike traditional internships, our programmes are designed as structured educational experiences with dedicated mentorship, career coaching, project supervision, and ongoing support throughout the internship.
Programme Overview
The Startup Internship Programme is a selective educational internship that gives participants the opportunity to work remotely with startups and innovative organisations on real business projects.
Participants are matched with a company based on their interests, skills, and career goals. Throughout the programme, interns receive mentorship from both their host company and The Internship Guy team while completing meaningful work that creates real impact.
As this is a structured educational programme that includes personalised company matching, mentorship, career coaching, programme management, and learning resources, accepted applicants are required to pay a programme fee before commencing the internship.
Need-based financial aid and merit scholarships are available to ensure that talented students are able to participate regardless of financial circumstances.

Accepted participants may apply for need-based financial aid or merit-based scholarships, which are awarded on a limited basis following review by the admissions team.
Referral Rewards Programme
Participants can earn rewards by referring friends to The Internship Guy programmes.
For every successful referral who is accepted and enrols in a programme, participants may receive referral incentives, programme credits, or cash rewards in accordance with the referral scheme in effect at the time of enrolment.
There is no limit to the number of eligible referrals, allowing participants to offset part or all of their programme fee while helping other students access valuable internship opportunities.
