Job Description

The Community Outreach Intern will play a vital role in leaving their imprint on the community outreach initiative from Singapore to across the region. The intern will work directly with the supervision of the Community Manager with close mentorship by the Director of Ecosystem Development (Incubation) of NUS Enterprise.

This role allow you to stretch and express your creativity through planning and rolling out a series of marketing outreach initiatives and community events to improve brand recognition, landscape scanning, identify potential channels and platforms.

You will get the chance to interact with the start-up community by organizing, planning and executing the various activities and initiatives internally and with the campus collaborators. 

You will also learn the intricacies of entrepreneurship and appreciate the high and lows of these founders through the incubation programme and close interaction with them.

You will be taken out of your comfort zone through interaction with the various stakeholders in the campus community and gain experience with public speaking, content creation through the various mediums of publication and collaborations.

You will get the opportunity to learn and participate in the various activities and programmes run by NUS Enterprise and its partners. 

Last but not least, you will walk away at the end of your internship with a better appreciation of entrepreneurship, lessons learnt from these entrepreneurs that the classroom can't give.
