Job Description

The Floating Folks is currently looking for a video production intern to help us bring graphics to life! As an intern at The Floating Folks, you will have the opportunity to work in a cosy and start-up environment! As we are a video production company, you will get to experience being on set from time to time and learn the ins and outs of video production; working closely with the creative team, clients, talents and crew!

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Opportunity to work on different ranges of projects ranging from social media videos, commercial, product features and reviews, voice-over recording, etc.

  • Conceptualisation and execution of video ideas and work together with the creative team

  • Involve in the setting up and execution of the filming.

  • Assisting with video edits (preparing timelines and sorting out sequences)

    Job Requirements:

  • Possess or currently pursuing a Diploma in Film and Media studies or equivalent

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator etc)

  • Meticulous, organized, systematic, and creative

  • Open to work in a start-up environment

  • Independent, highly self-motivated, good at multitasking, have a strong drive for self-improvement, willingness to learn new things, and have an open mind to accept critique

  • Students looking for an internship as part of their school internship programme are also welcome

  • Must be able to commit to a period of at least 3 months
