Job Description

Marketing Intern Job Scope

Assists with various marketing and advertising tasks, supporting sales and business team in planning and executing campaigns, conducting market research, and creating promotional materials. They may also be involved in social media management, content creation, and event planning. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Analysis:
    • Research market trends, analyze competitor activity, and identify potential marketing opportunities. 
  • Content Creation:
    • Contribute to the creation of marketing content, including social media posts, website copy, email newsletters, and promotional materials. 
  • Social Media Management:
    • Assist in managing social media accounts, monitor engagement, and contribute to social media post and strategies. 
  • Campaign Support:
    • Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including setting up ad placements and tracking performance metrics. 
  • Event Planning & Support:
    • Organize and execute promotional events, including logistics, materials, and on-site support. 
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Handle various administrative duties, such as data entry, managing databases, and preparing presentations. 
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the marketing team, collaborating on projects and contributing to team meetings and discussions. 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Communication Skills: 
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills are crucial for creating content, presenting ideas, and collaborating with the team. 
  • Analytical Skills: 
    • The ability to analyze data, research market trends, and evaluate campaign performance is essential. 
  • Creative Thinking: 
    • A creative mindset is helpful for developing new ideas for marketing campaigns and content. 
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: 
    • Interns should be able to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and learn quickly. 
  • Basic Knowledge of Marketing Principles: 
    • A foundational understanding of marketing concepts and strategies is beneficial. 
  • Proficiency in design software: Familiarity with design software, adobe, photoshop, Illustrator is required. 
  • Familiarity with Social Media Platforms: Understanding how to use and manage social media platforms is important. 
  • Enthusiasm and a Desire to Learn: A willingness to learn and take initiative is highly valued.
