The Astronauts Collective (TAC) – Youth Guidance Associate (YGA)

Hey there, are you seeking a part-time job that is meaningful yet flexible and does not interfere with your school schedule, why not be a YGA then! A YGA is a student facilitator/mentor who helps to facilitate career-related conversations and activities between youths in secondary schools and working professionals, supporting the learning and exploration process. Likewise mentoring youths from challenging backgrounds.

Who we are looking for:

• Students from diverse tertiary education pathways
• Able to commit ~15/hr per month over a 6-month period (possible to extend)
• Able to be physically available to be at various school location
• Experienced in working with and engaging youths
• Ideally with some experienced in facilitating group discussion and public speaking
• Friendly, Enthusiastic & Genuine dispositions
