TaFF is the official association for the textile and fashion industry in Singapore, and plays active role in supporting and developing the industry, positioning Singapore as an innovative fashion hub with a focus in three key areas: Technology & Innovation, Sustainability, and Asian Craftsmanship. TaFF champions programmes which build capabilities, expand Singapore’s fashion and textile businesses internationally, and promote environmentally-friendly business practices. In 2019, it was appointed by the government to run The Cocoon Space at Design Orchard and in 2020, to run Design Orchard Retail Showcase (DORS).
Marketing Intern will sit in with our marketing team through each phase of development, from brainstorming campaign ideas to developing marketing materials, preparing presentations and events. Under the supervision of the marketing director, you will assist with researching data, social media outreach, and perform some administrative work. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing.
Expected Deliverables
- Collaborate on annual marketing planning
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
- Perform market analysis and research on competition
- Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
- Assist team members with the creation of content for social media platforms
- Help in the creation and editing of content for social media and newsletter
- Help distribute marketing materials
- Work with our event marketing team to help organize events
Requirements
A) Education Qualities
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate course for Marketing, Communications or similar field.
- Familiarity with marketing computer software, social media platforms, online applications, VRM analytics, and Google Adwords
B) Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of business social media best practices and platforms
- Ability to multitask and take initiative
- Hardworking and dedicated outlook
- Provide support to social media efforts
- Experience with content creation
- Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a passion for marketing
- Strong work ethic
