Terrapinn – spark something.
This is an internship for 6 months where you will be exposed to the networking aspect of event management. Your key role would be to guest C-level executives to our events (by phone and email) and ensure a good turn-up rate on the event day.
Other job responsibilities include:
- To guest VIPs (C-level executives) that are relevant to our events through invitations by phone and email
- To co-ordinate and manage meetings for key sponsors (Gold and above) of big and huge events. To provide sponsors with a truly great experience pre and during the conference and to provide a service element to the networking process
- To co-ordinate round table attendance sheets
- To set up Terrapinn's networking app per event and handle enquiries before and onsite at event
- Manage meetings, private luncheons, etc for sponsors onsite
Qualifications and skills required
- Degree qualified
- Knowledge of excel, tech savvy
- Customer service focused
- Good written and verbal communications skills especially over the phone
- Interpersonal, relationship management and networking skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Planning/time management/self-organization and self disciplin
- Initiative - proactive and able to work independently
- Able to work with others and in a team
- Dependable – takes responsibility for own actions, keeps commitments
