TeOra is a next-gen biotech company on a mission to make the world sustainable, natural where we provide alternative to harmful chemicals through completely natural products synthesised in cell factories. Our first goal is to replace the chemicals in food with natural and sustainable solutions. You know that yeast can brew some of your favourite beverages, we are using these same tiny organisms to make many different proteins, peptides which can replace artificial chemicals in completely natural and sustainable manner.
We are looking for a motivated and creative intern who can work well in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The main role would be to formulate our products and bring them to the world.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Assisting and performing formulation development of polymer/lipid nanoparticles, liposomal formulations with APIs/ proteins/ peptides
- Assist in various product development projects focusing on functional food
- Assist in developing analytical methods for product release and in-vitro studies
- Preparing experimental reagents and monitoring laboratory consumables
- Conducting literature review and summarising new methodologies
- Documenting and interpreting results from experiments
- Support the design and optimisation of new protocols
Requirements
- Experience with formulations of small molecules, proteins and peptides
- Diploma or finished at least 4 semesters of Bachelor’s degree programme with laboratory experience
- Good team player, independent, self-driven with good interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
