TeOra is a growing Singapore-based biotechnology company developing metabolic engineering and synthetic biology solutions for our projects using novel multidisciplinary approaches. We are looking for a motivated and creative intern who can work well in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to work in a biotech startup and make an impact on sustainable living.
You should have at least 6 semesters of study with some previous work experience or internship experience. Knowledge of life sciences or biochemistry or biology or microbiology is required.
You will work on international projects with an experienced team. Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Assisting and performing molecular biology and yeast genetics experiments in milestone-driven synthetic biology projects
- Preparing experimental reagents and monitoring laboratory consumables
- Conducting literature review and summarising new methodologies in synthetic biology
- Documenting and interpreting results from experiments
- Supporting the design and optimisation of new protocols
