Telja – Social Media Marketing / Events Intern

Telja is a Men's Grooming and Image company. We bring the fusion of technical barbering skills along with contemporary hairdressing that will bridge the gap from the traditional ways of a barbershop and a modern hair salon. Our business uses 2 channels (retail and academy) to translate what we are trained to do. 

Telja Studios, our retail arm brings the fusion of technical barbering skills along with contemporary hairdressing in order to put forward the a modern twist on male grooming.

Telja Academy brings the same technical bridge where we equip beginners all the way to professionals with modern male hairdressing techniques. 

Telja Social focuses on empowering marginalised communities and to have the business be operationally advantageous to our beneficiaries. We yearn to see communities transformed with every resource we have to give, mainly through the skill of barbering.

Opportunities to work with NGOs, corporate firms and influencers for collaboration of events.

Requirements

• Strong written, verbal and communication skills
• Assist in the general distribution of press releases and media alerts
• Generate following for existing social media platforms
• Identify and engage with various influencers for social media campaigns
• Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis for company brands
• Monitor analytics with social media team to identify viable ideas
• Create engaging blog and social media content
• Preparing proposal and presentation materials for pitches to potential clients 
• Assisting in drafting quotations based on customer requirements
• Any other administrative duties for the Academy.
