Tech In Asia – Video Intern

Tech in Asia is the largest English-language technology media company that focuses on Asia. From the latest news to the hottest trends and the boldest startups, we cover everything tech in the region. Our goal is to build and serve Asia’s tech and startup community.

Tech in Asia Originals 

One of the ways we do that is through Tech in Asia Originals, our in-house video channel. At Originals, we tell impactful stories of the Asian startup scene and its leading players through creative and journalistic filmmaking. Our series have taken the team into the heart of emerging startup ecosystems in the Philippines, Myanmar, and Vietnam; screaming on rollercoasters to test a smart tee; and explaining startup jargon in fun, bite-sized animations. 

Tech in Asia Studios

Apart from producing quality Originals content, we help connect brands with Asia’s tech community through Studios, our multi-media advertising agency unit. We tell compelling stories of innovation for global tech giants like Google, Amazon, TikTok, and Alibaba; regional tech disruptors like Grab, Traveloka, Tokopedia, and Sea Group's Shopee; premier investors and venture capitalists like Sequoia Capital, GGV Capital, and Qiming Ventures; and government agencies like Singapore’s IMDA and Malaysia’s MDEC. 

Video Editor Intern (3 to 6 months)

Working closely with the Creative Executive Producer, you will be responsible for editing creative, engaging, and insightful original and branded video content for our audience and partner brands.

The ideal candidate should have a deep intuition for how to structure stories and a keen understanding of basic editing techniques. You should also understand what makes a video engaging and be able to bring that to the edit floor.

We are looking for someone who loves the craft of storytelling and is hungry to learn.
