It has relocated to the central area with a Food and beverage service front, showcasing products through hospitality, masterclasses and distillery tours with the aim to grow their brand organically.

We produce an assortment of spirits, focused on but not limited to Gin and are looking for a motivated and responsible individual who will help us grow our Food and beverage service arm of the business.

As the Tanglin Gin Jungle Floor Captain Intern, you will be reporting to the Assistant Manager and Supervisor.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the management team in the day-to-day functions at the outlet.
  • Ensure efficient and excellent service is provided to customers at all times.
  • Actively up-sell the menu and possess understanding of outlet offerings.
  • Constantly picking up new skills and knowledge to be able to influence positive learning processes
  • Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving food and drinks.
  • Constantly strives to satisfy all customers that patronize the outlet.
  • To support Reservations Host/Hostess and the rest of Operations team members at the outlet.
  • Assist managers in staff training on food and Assist with bar opening and closing duties. 
  • Tasks will range and not be limited at cleaning and clearing tables, table set-up and polishing silverware.
  • Maintenance of the outlet hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure that all standard recipes, SOPs and standards are followed in the service process.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept in good working order and used only for the purpose for which it was ended.
  • Reports to managers when encountered any issue during the service.
