Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support the APAC Account Servicing teams to deliver highest quality language services (ie copywriting, translation, proofreading, etc) to the client
  • Plan and coordinate resources, monitor language projects to meet deadline, quality and budget requirements, and be ultimately responsible for the delivery
  • Manage and build a trusting relationship with external in-market copywriters, translators and proofreaders to meet the client’s language needs
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the team

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a localisation or translation agency
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of Trados Software and/or other localization/CAT tools
  • Genuine interest in words and languages; passionate about language adaptation and advertising
  • Strong time management and communication skills; able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Extremely detailed and meticulous; have a “Can do” attitude
  • Be a motivated and independent worker while also being able to work as part of a tight-knit team
  • Willing to work overtime, if required
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English is a must; proficiency in Japanese or Korean will have an added advantage
