Motion Graphic Design Intern
Job Summary:
The role requires a highly motivated, self-directed, enthusiastic person who works well under pressure and can thrive in a deadline driven atmosphere. Ability to take direction and deliver clean designs based on brand guidelines – requiring intrinsic design abilities and acute attention to detail. Has demonstrated their ability to effectively manage projects, budgets and timelines, as well as handle multiple projects simultaneously, working in a fast paced environment.
In this internship, you will be exposed to various well-known global brands and their projects while working with a highly experienced and dynamic creative team. You will be engaged in an environment that gets your creative juices flowing and implore going wild with fresh and innovative ideas. You will be given the opportunity to be accountable for your own creation and artwork, while having the support and advice from experienced Creative experts to build your personal portfolios.
What you will learn:
Assist with creative brief interpretation – brainstorm ideas with the creative team
Participate in design and conceptualization process for projects
Ideate and create design materials for offline and online campaigns including ATL, BTL collaterals, banners, social media posts and eDMs
Work collaboratively with Creative Team to deliver on brief at the highest level of quality
Ability to understand creative briefs and bring brand stories to life through storyboarding and animation.
Vet final artwork and design using your insight on visual appeal
Support others and complete tasks as required by the studio manager/creative director
Punctually and accurately completes time-sheets and job records within workflow tool
Role specific skills and attributes:
Hard skills
- Studied Graphic/Motion Design or any visual design related experience
- 2D animation in Adobe After Effects, basic editing on Premiere Pro (video and music/sfx), Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of Animation and Storyboarding
- Expert knowledge in motion design and video production
- Understands post production editing
- Understands marketing communication objectives and possess strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Able to collaborate with interdepartmental teams
Soft skills
- Passionate and enthusiastic in design/art/visual work
- Strong time management skills, goal-oriented with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Strong communicator – written and verbal with ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with the ability to work fast in high pressure, dynamic environments
- Flexible, adaptable and have a good sense of cross-cultural advertising and communication
- Strong team player – ability to work with multiple teams in multiple locations
