Job Description

We are looking for a Computer Science or Computer Engineering graduate/student to work as a quantitative analyst in a Global Macro Hedge Fund.

The candidate will need to meet the following requirements:

1) Highly proficient in Python. Knowledge of R and C++ will be an advantage.

2) Experience using Python to backtest data sets and find optimal solutions. Machine learning knowledge would be a plus point.

3) Keen interest in financial markets and the ability to work independently.

Main Project

Working with a broad set of financial data to derive the best trading strategy in different asset classes.
Candidate will need to perform the programming task independently, so it requires a high proficiency in Python and the ability to sieve through a huge data set to derive an optimal solution.
Objective is to build a quantitative framework for asset allocation in different investing regimes and the final product will be a tool that will recommend asset exposures on a daily basis.
