Surer is an InsurTech startup that will revolutionise the way the General Insurance industry manages their entire workflow, from an agent advising their clients (the end policyholder) to how the Insurer distributes their products.

And as a Community Manager Intern, you get to be a part of the revolution! Responsibilities

We are looking for a curious and energetic person who's also a creative thinker to develop and execute our overall community engagement strategies to grow our insurance intermediary community.

You will be performing outreach and engagement activities with intermediaries and to ensure that every user in our community has an amazing experience.

Your day to day task will be focused on working directly with the founding team and be the lead in terms of our user voice and be an advocate for them, such that we can build them an even more awesome product.

In summary, you will:

• Work closely with the Business, Marketing, Product and Customer Success teams to shape our community engagement. 

• Build and manage processes around feedback collection, key users / stories profiling and event management - using both online and offline methods.

• Build and nurture long-term relationships with insurance intermediaries.

• Stimulate engagement and activity within this community.

• Champion the community and amplify the community’s voice on our platforms

• Track the outcomes of community activities and report on insights.

Experience and Skill Sets

• Passionate about communities and is excited to work with people.

• Able to work independently with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.

• Collaborative, open-minded and not afraid to get your hands dirty.

• Has a knack for spotting viral trends and stories that will interest the community.

• Enjoys talking to people and building relationships

• Eager to learn - it’s alright if you don’t have much experience, we are all learning! However, it is important to be eager to learn and that you’ll go the extra mile to pick up the required skills.

• Able to work independently as well as in a team

• Able to multitask in a demanding, fast paced environment and work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines

Founded by Gordon, Derren and Renfred, we have held positions to grow the business in highly successful startups like PropertyGuru and Carousell, successfully founded and exit-ed from a VendTech startup, ShakeSalad, while also having careers in major insurance companies like AIG, MSIG and QBE. One of us is even an Asian Games Gold Medalist!
