Structo – Firmware Intern

Structo is a Singapore-based 3d printer manufacturer. We build industrial-grade 3D printers using our own, unique patented technology. Our SLA printers can achieve faster speeds and large build volumes at a lower cost compared to existing SLA printers. We also develop our own innovative polymer materials for a range of printing applications.

Responsibilities

•  Support the development of embedded software for a 3D printer
•  Develop testing software for reliability
•  Develop production improvement software for manufacturing operations.
•  Hands on work on assembling, troubleshooting and testing a 3D printer.

Requirements

• Undergraduate in any Engineering discipline with ability to code in either in C/C++. (Proficiency in the Rust is a bonus)
• Knowledge of a scripting language such as Python/Javascript.
• Familiarity in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Involvement in projects related to motion control and robotics.
• Some experience in interfacing sensors and actuators with single board computers such as the Raspberry Pi/Beaglebone or microcontrollers like Arduino.
• Knowledge of computer vision libraries such as OpenCV will be helpful.
