Job Description

Social Media Video Producer and Editor or Interns Are Welcome to Apply


The Social Media video Producer /editor executes activities aimed at improving the reach of online content and increasing the Advance brand presence on existing and emerging social media platforms. This position promotes content on our various branded channels and establishes targeted presences on new platforms with content generated by the social media team.

You will be a content generator that produces written, video and photo content for Stratgeist and our clients and is responsible for contributing to their social media platforms, ensuring that they reflect the best content available and that they are in sync with audience interest. This position leverages content and audience metrics to optimize the website and social channels and is responsible for helping to set and share best practices and standards to create optimal user experience and engagement.

The Social Media Producer provides operational and content support to our social media team 

Software and Soft Skills Needed

Strong skills in industry-standard Adobe photo, audio and video editing software

Ability to work as a part of a team.

Ability to work independently.

You’ll also need to think up and create content by yourself with limited team input.

• Working knowledge of the various digital media publishing platforms.

• Good organisational skills and the ability to oversee projects from conception to delivery.

• A passion for digital media. Ability to translate that passion into day-to-day projects.

• Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure and to short deadlines.

• Ability to build effective relationships with commercial/product/technical teams and content creators/talent.

• Flexibility in working hours: happy to work evenings/weekends/travel if necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

You have 

  • Strong knowledge of all social media outlets - emphasis on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook
  • Outstanding communication and people abilities
  • Experience with editing softwares like Adobe, FCP
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in photoshop and AE will be a plus.
