Job Description

Straits Science, the science by design startup, is looking for an original, quick, tech savvy visual communications creative to be part of its sustainable product development and launches.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Highly original or quirky approach to design

• Solid technical skills

• A flair for visual presentation, entertaining copy and visual storytelling

• Experience from their own blog / instagram / fun digital copy

• Happy to engage, influence and coordinate with other people

• Undaunted by responsibility - willing to take ownership of your role

• Ability to handle ambiguity and make fast decisions

Technical skills

• Adobe

• UX skills

• Webflow (a benefit but not essential)

• Lottie (a benefit but not essential)

What you will do

• Cover a wide range of visual communication functions (press, promotions, social media, packaging)

• Develop content and templates for social platforms / channels

• Contribute to packaging design in coordination with others

• Conceptualize and implement campaigns

• Assist with other cross-functional ad-hoc tasks
