We are looking for a proactive, organised, and self-motivated individual with a strong interest in youth innovation, event management, and building impactful collaborations. As a Strategic Partnerships Intern, you will play a key role in supporting SAC’s inaugural youth hackathon, 3IGHACK, which empowers students to tackle pressing global challenges through creativity, entrepreneurship, and collaboration. The role will focus on event outreach, logistics, and partnership management, while also providing support for school and stakeholder engagement where needed.

Responsibilities

  • Event outreach and logistics, including:
  • Assist with planning and coordinating event logistics, from pre-event preparation to on-site execution
  • Support outreach efforts to promote the hackathon to invited schools and participants
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers on event-related requirements
  • Maintain databases and contact lists for participants, mentors, and partners
  • Partnership and stakeholder management, including:
  • Support the management of partner involvement, such as mentors, judges, and funding contributors
  • Assist in preparing partnership decks, communications, and briefing materials
  • Provide on-site support to ensure a smooth partner and stakeholder experience
  • Support post-event reports and follow-up communications with partners

 Requirements

  • Poly, JC or Undergraduate student from a relevant field such as Business Administration, Social Sciences, Marketing, Event Management, or Communications preferred
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
  • Interest or prior experience in event planning, outreach, or partnership management is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A good team player who can also work independently with initiative
  • Proficient in MS Office; design skills (e.g. Canva, InDesign, Photoshop) highly desired
  • Candidate should ideally be available to commit through November 2025 to support the hackathon’s preparation and execution
  • Part-time and hybrid work arrangements are negotiable, with flexibility leading up to the event.
