Stewardship Asia Centre is a non-profit organisation dedicated to enabling business growth and societal prosperity through education and advisory on steward leadership. Temasek Trust is the philanthropic arm of Singapore-based global investor Temasek Holdings.
We’re looking for a curious, sharp intern to help turn articles, reports, podcasts, and videos into short-form social content scripts (primarily Instagram and LinkedIn reels). This role is about sense-making: spotting strong ideas, extracting the signal from the noise, and shaping them into clear, compelling short scripts that work in a fast-scroll world.
If you enjoy reading widely, thinking critically, and translating complex ideas into punchy, human language — this role is for you. This is a 2-3 months internship role.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and review articles, opinion pieces, research reports, and news related to steward leadership, business, sustainability, climate, ESG, and social impact, with the goal of distilling complex ideas into clear, digestible, bite-sized content
- Watch and analyse long-form videos, talks, interviews, and podcasts to extract key insights and translate them into short, engaging formats suitable for reels and social media
- Identify key insights, strong angles, and quotable moments suitable for short-form video
- Draft short reel scripts (30–60 seconds), including:
- Hook/opening line
- Core message
- Suggested closing or call-to-action
- Adapt insights for different platforms (e.g. more conversational for Instagram, more insight-driven for LinkedIn)
- Organize sources and scripts clearly for easy review and iteration
- Incorporate feedback and refine scripts for clarity, tone, and impact
What We’re Looking For
- Strong reading comprehension and critical thinking skills
- Ability to distill complex or long-form content into simple, engaging ideas
- Clear, concise writing style
- Interest in leadership, business, sustainability, climate, or social impact
- Familiarity with short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, LinkedIn video)
- Comfortable working independently and meeting weekly deadlines
Nice to Have
- Background in communications, journalism, marketing, public policy, or social sciences
- Experience writing social captions, scripts, or summaries
- Understanding of what makes content “hooky” in the first 3 seconds
- Basic awareness of trends in LinkedIn or Instagram conte
