Company Profile

Stamford American offers an outstanding education for students from 2 months to 18 years of age. We are an IB World School with close to 3,000 students on two campuses, multiple learning pathways including IB, AP and BTEC, and a school-wide commitment to student well-being. More than 90 percent of our graduates get into their top two choices for college or university, with students gaining admission to highly competitive institutions in the U.S., Canada, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia and more.

We have amazing facilities with two campuses about five kilometers apart. Our facilities boast state-of-the-art classrooms, theater, science labs, quiet study spaces, spacious libraries, gyms, pools, etc. Our teachers thrive in this well-resourced environment and leverage it to promote active learning for our students.

We attract top-tier teachers through a competitive recruitment process. These are professionals who possess deep knowledge of content and pedagogy, but as important, they know how to build relationships and help students feel safe and valued. In teacher interviews and references, we probe how they show up in the classroom and who they are at their core. Once at Stamford American, we offer a robust professional learning program to help them grow.

Our support staff also take great ownership and pride in our school in ensuring we operate effectively, efficiently and with care. Stamford American parents, meanwhile, round out our community with a strong partnership through the PTA, school events and classroom support. We engage in continual feedback loops, including surveys and daily communication, to ensure we meet the needs of our students and families.
