Sqkii is known for our #HuntTheMouse and #HuntFromHome campaigns that give away cold, hard cash to players. In the good old pre-COVID days, our hunts and custom games got Singaporeans squatting in random spots and running after golden eggs. For now (and the foreseeable future), we’re bringing players on virtual adventures through their mobile screens. They’re still super cool, just ask the mouse.
We recently paid a virtual visit to the player community in Malaysia with #HuntFromHome — Around The World, and oh boy do we have big plans ahead for SEA and beyond. Big plans = bigger team, so we’re on the hunt (ha) for someone who wants to help make this exponential growth happen.
As our Human Resource Intern, you’ll command our magical crystal ball to find even more humans to do the mouse’s bidding and more importantly, keep everyone happy and reasonably sane as we grow. We’re open to ideas from literally anyone in the team, so if you’ve been hiding that one absolutely outrageous plan to attract new talent, there’s a pretty good chance we’ll be up for it. If you’re serious about wanting to build the happiest team around, we (and our Operations Manager) are waiting over here with our virtually open arms. Your move.
What you’ll be doing:
- Operating as the primary point of contact between potential talents and Sqkii
- Developing and refining HR policies to optimise our work culture and environment
- Managing employee feedback to discover what’s working and not
- Reaching out to and maintaining close relationships with educational institutes to manage pipelines of student talents
What you’ll need:
- Excellent time management and organisation abilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A high degree of self-motivation
- High attention to details
- Confidence, resilience, persistence, and social skills — a lot of these
