Role
The Product Analyst Intern serves as a liaison between product managers and analytic team, distilling, compiling, and presenting crucial business insights and data to support timely and significant tactical and strategic choices. You would need to be well-versed in business reality, possess excellent mathematical and analytical skills, and be able to distill complicated issues into digestible and actionable reports, charts, and insights
Responsibilities
- Gain a thorough understanding of our product, users, and data source using a data-first approach to assist us in making better business decisions and accelerating our growth.
- Create and maintain processes for reviewing, monitoring and analysing analytics dashboards to assess performance of the product.
- Together with the Product Manager, support in-depth analysis of (single or multiple) datasets to look into hurdle metrics or heat maps and make suggestions to improve the product usage.
- Create data dashboards and product trackers to derive insights into product performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Pursuing a degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field
- Proficient in data analytical skills such as Python, R and/or SQL
- Understanding of intricate business, product and data systems
- Ability to explain complex results to audiences both technical and non-technical concisely
- Flexibility and readiness to pick up new skills on the job
- Strong work ethic and the capacity to function autonomously and produce outcomes with little guidance
