SPQO – Treasury / FX Intern

We are currently offering Full Time Contract and Internship (Temporary/Part time) roles

Part time/Temporary Internship

Allowance: $2000 per month

Position: Temporary Internship

Our in house economist and accountant are looking for 70 interns from Accountancy/Finance/Economics/Business/Law or anyone keen in the area of investments and finance to partake in our internship. Our Economist, who was an Associate Professor with a prestigious local University, shall take the intern through 3 phases of training:

a) Foreign Exchange Trading 

b) Treasury 

c) Stock Market Strategies 

(Interns are fully sponsored for for the courses, which will commence as the first phase of their internship)

Our accounting counterpart, shall take the candidate through corporate finance, corporate ratios, corporate solutions, forensic accounting, personal finance and instruments and financial ratios

Candidate shall assist our in house professionals in areas of business development and acquisition. Shortlisted candidates shall also be trained and network with fund managers on Unit Trusts. Networking sessions may also be arranged for our interns through the economist

Full Time positions

1) Business Associate

Candidate shall possess a diploma, an A levels or equivalent. Diploma in Accountancy/business/finance/economics related degree would be a bonus although not necessary. Candidate shall assist Director in the tabulation of business expenses by forming simple accounts statements including the 3 main statements. Candidate shall key in receipts and information, handle petty cash transactions, monitor payslips and payrolls. take minutes and prepare presentations, and handle operations duties as tasked. Candidate shall be trained by Accountant and Economist to enhance portfolio 

2) Events assistant

Candidate shall possess an Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma or its equivalent. Candidates who are able to use very simple autocad and drawings a bonus. Candidate shall assist our events director in areas of events planning and execution, including over seeing and monitoring of events and preparing events contract drafts. Candidate shall also liaise with our clients which include MNCs on several events planning subject matters .
