Spout Entertainment Pte Ltd – Content Writer Lead

REAPRA is building up a subsidiary company in the e-sports industry. We're in need of a variety of talented, enthusiastic, and passionate individuals with a love for e-sports to help us create and distribute compelling content.

The position will be responsible for setting and ensuring that content targets are fulfilled according to quality standards and brand guidelines of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Writing content on popular eSports titles in Southeast Asia, pertaining to event related articles, non-event related articles such as player transfers, change in games/patches
• Liaise with inhouse video production team as to provide game specific knowledge to create video content such as compilation of best moves, team and player specials etc
• Develop and optimize a social content schedule supporting editorial/production calendars and leveraging on current events/trending topics
• Manage a team of outsourced content wrtiers and ensure content delivery and quality targets are met on a periodic basis
• Adhere to SPOUT’s brand identity and style of textual content and video production
• Develop a comprehensive plan to grow the eSports channel’s social presence while developing a clear brand

REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
• A solid understanding of the eSports industry, with surface knowledge of League of Legends, DOTA2, Counter Strike, FIFA and deep knowledge of at least one of the above titles
• Experience in writing quality content, maintaining a page and engaging a community of readership around it
• Familiar with social analytics tools and insight tools
• Basic ability in or willingness to learn writing copy, using multimedia images, and using image and video editing software
• Excellent organisational, research and writing skills
