The candidate will be part of the video team, supporting the Digital Video Producers and the Head of Video on various projects which includes but not exhaustive weekly short videos, podcast highlights, original video series and news documentaries on finance and business news.
Job Scope
◦ Write, produce and edit social content for BT, these include explainers, listicles and short videos
◦ Transcribe and prep interviews for edits◦ Research and collate materials such as stock footage and images, news articles, sources, user generated content and images
◦ Support the video team on shoots in lighting, camera, profiles and sets
◦ Take on housekeeping tasks such as spell-checking and equipment maintenance
◦ Propose creative ideas for content and audience engagement
Essential Skills Required in an Intern
◦ 1+ years of experience in writing, content or video production
◦ Basic videography and video editing skills. Knowledge in Adobe Premiere Pro & Canva is a plus◦ Good communication skills, initiative-driven and willing to learn
◦ Keen interest in business & finance
◦ Must be fluent in written and spoken English
◦ Experience in journalism and reporting is a bonus
