SPH Media Limited – Product Design Intern (Business Times Editorial)

As a product designer intern in The Business Times, you will work closely with Product designers and Product team to frame problems to be solved and design creative solutions. This encompasses understanding users and business needs, creating intuitive user flows, and creating compelling User Interface and prototypes to make your ideas come to life. 

On a day to day basis, this means:

• Creating UX deliverables that will help shape design rationale and kickstart conversations with stakeholders 
• Building UI mockups and prototypes - Creating detailed user interface specifications - Guiding engineers in their implementation of your designs 
• Participating in creating and maintaining our in-house design system 
• Requirements - A portfolio of work, demonstrating creative problem-solving skills 
• Dynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiences
• Curiosity for publishing industry and news platforms 
• Ability to collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback 
•  An intuitive eye for customer needs 
•  A passion for design
