We aim to help brands find great factories and materials, whilst driving business to suppliers who care about social and ecological issues. As we develop our tech platform, we will also be building tools to facilitate interactions in the collection planning & production processes.
Job Description
Stoa is looking for one or two interns who are passionate about fashion, sustainability and technology to help us in our mission to build a digital sourcing platform.
The ideal candidate(s) have:
- worked in fashion, product development, or manufacturing or are working for degrees in those fields
- a basic understanding of the processes around fashion manufacturing or product development
- a desire to enhance said processes through positive disruption, with the use of technology.
Main responsibilities:
- Research and contact suppliers to build our database of responsible suppliers & help them build their profiles
- Co-ordinate with our brand customers on any issues on which they need assistance
- Help in mapping out brands-supplier interactions to optimize app navigation
- Interact with suppliers and brands to understand their needs, to enhance customer satisfaction & “stickiness”
