The Job

Responsibilities:

• You will be the main developer and have full responsibility for both our apps
• You will work closely with the two co-founders and other members of our agile cross-functional team (incl. a freelance designer)
• Bring your expertise to technical discussions, propose, challenge or approve technical solutions
• Take an active role across the whole product development lifecycle
• You will help select and lead two additional developers (and more if you become the CTO)

Ideal Candidate

Skills:

• You do not need to have a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a top-tier university.
• Have at least 1 year of commercial experience in React Native.
• Familiarity with state/data management libraries (Redux etc.).
• Strong knowledge of the latest JavaScript standards and libraries/ecosystem.
• Experience with TypeScript
• Practical knowledge of unit testing in React using Jest and React Native Testing Library.
• Knowledge of functional programming paradigms.
• Ability to write clean, readable and testable code.
• Familiarity with app management tools: Google Play Console and Apple AppStore Connect.
• Released at least one application to Google Play and AppStore.
• You have a hands-on mentality and are willing to get your hands dirty.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and like to think about all aspects of the product.
• You are ready for the journey of your life.
