Job Summary:

We are looking for a Software Robotic Engineer to design, implement, and maintain core software components for robotic systems. The role involves working with various robotics modules, integrating sensors, and ensuring robust and efficient software through collaboration and best development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain software components for robotic systems.
• Develop and integrate robotic modules including:
• SLAM
• Localization
• Path planning
• Trajectory tracking
• Robot health and monitoring
• Use ROS2 to create reusable, modular, and scalable robotic applications.
• Characterize and integrate a variety of sensors (e.g., LIDAR, IMU, cameras), including calibration and performance testing.
• Write reliable and efficient code in C++ and Python.
• Collaborate with hardware, digital, and AI teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Test, deploy, and debug robotic software systems.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development practices, including code reviews and unit testing.

Ideal Candidate

• The ideal candidate is a robotics software engineer with strong experience in ROS2, C++, and Python, capable of designing modular robotic applications. They should have hands-on expertise in key robotics modules like SLAM, localization, path planning, and trajectory tracking, as well as sensor integration (LIDAR, IMU, cameras). A collaborative mindset, solid debugging skills, and a focus on writing efficient, scalable code are essential.
