The Job

• Liaise with the Marketing team and provide support for the new customer Sample & Project.
• Execute various projects and tasks based on the objectives set by Management.
• To establish the process parameters standards (PMP) and FMEA, review and amend periodically to suit the productivity and quality.
• Improve the capacity of production and cost-down projects.
• Understand the company’s Quality, Environment, Water Efficiency and OH&S Policy and Objectives, Environment, aspects and impacts, Safety news, Safety risk assessment, etc.
• Conduct periodic solution analysis and replenishment.
• Ensure activities are being carried out with compliance to Legal & Regulation.
• Support to implement environmental management operations and activities in the department (e.g. Control of chemicals, energy, water and waste).
• To review the safety aspect of the production and inspection area and improve them periodically to ensure the safety of the workers and working area.
• Report any quality, environmental, water efficiency, and safety to the relevant internal authority.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and procedures.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science or Chemistry.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Electro-Plating industry.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Independent, self-driven and proactive individuals.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
