Snaphunt Pte Ltd – Finance Manager

Our client was established in 2011 and they are dealing with pet foods only. They are currently running 7 stores and operate in a 24hrs concept.

Currently they are the second largest retail pet chain in Singapore and they are still growing. It was a 400k revenue company in 2011 and it had grown to nearly 7m today.

They are planning to open a few more retail stores in Singapore next year.

The Job

You will be responsible for :

• Managing the full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting.
• Driving accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing.
• Overseeing monthly closing and managing monthly reporting & analysis.
• Consolidation of group entities.
• Ensuring compliance with all legislative tax and financial reporting requirements.
• Liaising with internal and external auditors.
• Managing banking relationships, cash management and other treasury related activities.
• Acting as a key business partner in tracking performance and driving profitability.
• Managing the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning process.
• Performance analysis and implementing actions to support strategy.
• Ensuring compliance with financial processes, systems and policies.
• Providing an oversight on tax, internal controls and audit related matters.
• Managing a team of 1-5 people.

Ideal Candidate

• You are a Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• You have at least 1 year experience within a Finance Manager or Financial Controller role, ideally within the the Accounting Industry, the Financial Services Industry and Retail Banking industry.
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
• You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
• You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
