The Job

Role & Responsibilities :

• Maintain and manage inventory of materials, which include stock locations and analysis of SKUs movement and storage profiles
• Performs inventory stock counting and accuracy checks
• Maintain updated and accurate records on inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
• Review documentation & current processes to identify discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records to identify root causes and drive corrective actions from respective operational teams
• Develop and implement control measures to existing operational procedures in order to ensure stock count accuracy and stock location accuracy
• Prepare, generate and file inventory reports; review inventory reports periodically with Head of Logistics and/ or relevant HODs
• Perform routine inventory data management, which involves monitoring inventory movement and inventory location
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate

Key competencies :

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or other relevant fields
• Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in Inventory / Warehousing / Manufacturing/ Logistics (preferably in a fast moving environment)
• Proficient in MS Excel; advanced knowledge in Excel usage will be an advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills to drive results
• Detailed oriented, meticulous and accurate in work
