The Job

Our client is need of an experienced E&I Estimation Engineer who will be responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying design and constructability issues and analysis to determine constructability.
• Defining more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project
• Acting as a connection between subcontractors, design team (architects, engineers, consultants), and client
• Preparing and assembling bids and proposals for various contract types
• Determining required but non indicated scope through the analysis of site conditions and all contract documents (plans specifications, etc.)
• Collaborating with operations staff and other estimators to ensure that General Conditions and Requirement items are appropriately captured in the estimate
• Performing assessment on subcontractor proposals to ascertain if scope is covered and also manage the risk of scope gaps
• Proffering suggestions to the Chief Estimator or appropriate authority for contemplated expenditures.

Ideal Candidate

Skills Required:

• You are able to handle Mechanical, Piping estimations.
• You have 3+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Refinery brown/green field projects & maintenance works.
• You possess a Degree/Diploma in E&I, Engineering or related field.
• You have at least 3 year experience, ideally within a Estimation Engineer role.
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and a proven track record in building relationships with senior level stakeholders.
• You are a strong networker & relationship builder
• You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
• You are willing to undertake 0-30% travel.
