The Job

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing a full set of accounts for two entities
• Generating debit and credit notes
• Receiving payments and updating the daily cash book and accounting records
• Updating customer collection
• Preparing the monthly statement of accounts
• Handling bank reconciliation, data entry for our operations, processing of payments, invoices, and payment vouchers, reconciling suppliers’ statements of accounts, verifying collections and receipts, and document filing
• Preparing and maintaining the fixed asset register and assisting in the preparation and reconciliation of the GST
• Posting journals, accruals, and prepayments, and performing all financial reports.
• Assisting with month-end closing, preparing audit schedules for the year, and closing of accounts
• Supporting audit and tax requirements

Ideal Candidate

Skills required:

• You have a minimum ACCA, degree, or diploma in accounting or an equivalent
• You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting work experience.
• Knowledge of the SAP accounting system will be an advantage but not compulsory.
• You have a good computer, Microsoft Excel, and problem-solving skills.
• You are Meticulous, good personality, responsible, are able to meet deadlines and work independently and as a team
