SmartSites SG – Assistant Digital Content Manager

SmartSites is a full service digital agency offering website design and development, SEO, and PPC. Our diverse team of designers, developers, and strategists is over 150 people strong and spans across the globe. Since our inception in 2011, we have completed over 600 projects, and have received only 5 star reviews across Google+, Yelp, and Facebook. 

We are currently looking for an Assistant Digital Content Manager to join our team.

The hours are flexible and you will be working from home. However, we require all applicants to be able to hit at least 176 hours per month. You will be paid $12USD (around $16SGD) per hour, hence you can expect your remuneration to start from $2112USD (around $2800SGD).

If you write articles, you will be paid for them in addition. Currently, we are interested in hiring people who have writing or editing experience. If you are not familiar with any tasks, training and support will be provided via Google Meet or in the form of pre-recorded instructional videos.

Job Scope

• Manage writers by ensuring that they submit their tasks on time
• Do fact-checking on writers’ articles where necessary
• Write blog posts and website pages for our clients
• Optimize written articles using SEO guidelines
• Proofread and edit articles written by writers
• Assign writing tasks to our team of writers
• Organize writing tasks received
• Develop editorial calendars
• Write meta-descriptions

Job Requirements

• Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills
• Good management and organizational skills
• Ability to provide constructive feedback
• Familiarity with SEO guidelines
• Great attention to detail
