Job Description

SRC's processes and administration are largely manual and based on spreadsheets. With dozens of programmes and initiatives, this makes streamlining operations and inter-department collaboration difficult. SRC is looking to digitalise most of its operations and administration in 2021 and the organisation is also doing a refresh of its technology infrastructure. 

Objectives 

SRC is looking to establish an integrated network of custom-developed proprietary systems. This is to cut down on time and manpower put into daily routine tasks, and dedicate resources into more value-adding activities. SRC also aims to completely put in place new IT assets, services/equipment, and infrastructure as part of its Refresh initiative. Consolidation and Integration of multiple custom-developed systems and establishing "one-stop" portal. 

  • Collaborate with SRC's business units to comprehensively understand current operational and administrative goals and limitations, digitalisation requirements (supported by supervisor). 
  • Trainees would also be required to assist with daily administration and troubleshooting, and periodic training of staff in Basic IT knowledge. 
  • Trainees play a support/shadow/2nd chair role to the IT supervisor. Mostly they will be project managing the project and vendors. 
  • Understand the concept and vision of the softwares/portal, and suggest new ideas to achieve the desired outcome. 
  • Trainees will also help in areas of tech refresh such as helping staff update software, coordinating, daily tech support during the tech refresh period.
