Job Description

Responsibility

  1. New ala carte menu planning and food promotions
  2. In charge of food cost, inventory and stock take
  3. Stringent control on food cost and expenditure
  4. Ensuring the quality level of food and presentation
  5. Responsible for planning and directing food presentation in kitchen
  6. Wastage control
  7. Supporting the vision of the food & beverage team as a whole, responsible for both food and staff
  8. Demonstrating excellent product knowledge to all food in section
  9. Ensuring that all recipe at section are followed
  10. Ensuring the adherence of kitchen standards
  11. Establish smooth personal and work relation within section and team members
  12. Ensuring that all equipment in section is cleaned and procedure of sanitization and hygiene is followed
  13. Delegating tasks to kitchen helper and ensuring that the tasks are completed within the time frame
  14. Performing any additional, special duties, task or changes given by the Head, Food & Beverage. 

Requirements

  1. At least 3 year’ experience in western / local cuisine
  2. Previous food service experiences definitely an asset.
  3. Formal or active study of post-secondary training in food and beverage management definitely a benefit.
  4. Excellent communication and a passion for customer service.
  5. This position will require working varied schedules that will include evenings, nights, weekends and split shifts.
