Overview
The Ecosystem Readiness Level (ERL) Project team is pioneering the development of an industry maturity framework for the emerging tech sector in Singapore. Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the primary bridge between our research goals and the innovators driving the industry. Your work will directly contribute to mapping the key factors that enable deep tech innovation.
- Ecosystem Engagement & Data Collection: Proactively engage with startup founders, researchers, and industry experts through phone surveys. You will use your interpersonal skills to build rapport and ensure high-quality participation in our research. Training on our methodology and outreach protocols will be provided.
- Qualitative Data Transformation: Transcribe and clean qualitative data from in-depth interviews. You will be responsible for transforming conversations into usable information for the research.
- Data Integrity: Meticulously maintain research logs and repositories to ensure the accuracy of our knowledge base.
- Supplementary tasks: Identify common themes, sentiments, and key observations from your conversations to help the team understand insights that go beyond the data.
Requirements
Education
- Open to students and graduates from Polytechnic, Junior College, or University.
Preferred
- Prior experience in outreach, customer-facing roles, or research projects.
- Familiarity with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

- Communication & Language Skills: Comfortable speaking English. Proficiency in other languages is a big plus for reaching a wider range of respondents.
- Interpersonal Skills: Comfortable making phone calls and conducting professional conversations with stakeholders.
- Meticulous Nature: High attention to detail when documenting interview notes and managing data.
- Mindset: A resourceful self-starter who is comfortable taking the initiative to reach outreach targets. A genuine interest in how startups, AI, and emerging technologies are shaping the future.
