It aims to transform the lives of PwD through sport as a form of rehabilitative therapy, and means to realise their potential. Besides providing platforms for learning sport, SDSC trains talents to represent Singapore at regional and international competitions 

Job Description

The Corporate Communications Executive / Officer will play an important role in the Comms team to support the development and implementation of SDSC’s strategies and advancing the corporate image through various engagements and programmes.This will create awareness about SDSC’s role in developing para sports in Singapore, garnering more support and additional resources such as through fundraising, in order to help transform the lives of persons with disabilities through sports.

 Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Communications & Engagement 

  • Provide inputs and coordinate the implementation of marketing and communications initiatives, such as press campaigns, school partnerships, learning journeys
  • Design and produce promotional material and brand collateral such as backdrops, brochures, annual reports, merchandise
  • Manage corporate website and social media platforms to ensure functional value and reach
  • Track and report media coverage
  • Manage photography and videography services and archival
  • Coordinate engagements and interviews of athletes and promote brand ambassadorship
  • Organise public and corporate outreach activities, as well as internal workshops for athletes
  • Support crisis communications when necessary

Development & Fundraising

  • Support fundraising campaigns and events
  • Conduct research on leads and reach out to potential donors
  • Write proposals and impact reports
  • Collate and report on grants, sponsorships and donations


General 

  • Source and procure services and products needed by the Comms team
  • Perform any other duties as directed by Executive Director or the Executive Committee

Candidate Requirements:

  • Approachable, driven, efficient, creative, resourceful
  • Good verbal and written English, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Detailed and meticulous, with good planning, organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Passionate about being of service to the community and to persons with disability
  • Able to work on weekends and after office hours, when necessary
  • Fresh graduates are welcome.
