Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) was established in 1964 and has been actively serving the community for more than 57 years. SCS was registered as a Society in 1984 and accorded IPCs (Institution of a Public Character) status as a charity in 1995 by the Ministry of Health (MOH). SCS is a member of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), a founding member of the Singapore Hospice Council (SHC), and a member of the Union of International Cancer Control (UICC). Being self-funded, the Society is dependent on donations to provide quality services to needy cancer patients, their families, and members of the public. 

Job Description

Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you will provide administrative support to the HR team in accomplishing their tasks and goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Coordinate interviews for officer and executive levels
  • Assist in the recruitment of 35 temporary positions for CCAM (Mar and Oct).
  • Conduct briefing and orientation for all temp positions

 

HR Operations

  • Create account on SuccessFactors, Excelity and Facebook Workplace for new employees.
  • Terminate accounts for resignees. 
  • Assist in course registration, conference coordination and application of training grants and other government grants.
  • Update and maintain training record.
  • Assist with the necessary preparations for approvals and letters for employee confirmation, transfers, acceptance of resignation letter.
  • Assist in posting job advertisements in job portals, and other platforms
  • Work with Staff Welfare Committee (STAR Comm) to roll out employee engagement activities
  • Assist with the celebrations for Social Workers Day, Nurses Day, Allied Health Professional Day, Community Care Day
  • Seek artwork approval from supervisor and order name stamps and name tags for new staff.
  • Coordinate CEO sessions and lunches with employees
  • Keep track of Long Service Awards
