Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment. This internship offers valuable exposure to real accounting work and the opportunity to learn directly from experienced accounting professionals.

  • Shadow members of the Accounting department to gain insight into daily accounting operations and workflows.
  • Assist with research, filing, data entry, and the recording and maintenance of accurate and complete financial records.
  • Support bookkeeping tasks using accounting software.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
  • Learn how to work collaboratively as part of the Accounting team to compile, analyse, and track financial data.
  • Provide support to the company through basic accounting and administrative tasks.
  • Take on additional tasks or small projects to broaden knowledge of accounting practices and office operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed introductory accounting courses or a related field of study.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • Good numerical aptitude and comfortable working with accounting software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a strong desire to learn and take on new challenges.
