Simba Telecom Pte Ltd – RAN Engineer

TPG Telecom has been appointed as Singapore’s 4th mobile telecommunications network service provider and is currently building Singapore’s newest 5G mobile network.

The RAN Engineer is to ensure the continued operation of the network and related systems by engineering and implementing solutions for expansion, new products, and failure incidents.

Reporting to the RAN Manager, your responsibilities will include, 

• Design, planning, integration, and operations for TPG’s 4G and 5G RAN network
• Responsible for capacity expansion, software updates and upgrades
• Manage network operations and maintenance schedule
• Other duties as required

Ideally, you should be equipped with,

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Telecommunications, IT, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in integration and maintenance of RAN base stations
• Those without relevant experience may also apply
• Willing to be on standby after working hours during alternate weeks
• Possessing a Class 3/3A driver’s license is an added advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
