Silver Straits Capital Pte Ltd (SSC) is a boutique private equity company set up by to identify, acquire and operate medium sized private companies with initial enterprise value between USD15mn – USD30mn. We are investing in stable businesses with significant growth potential through the application of best practices or technologies to deliver value.
Our portfolio company, Rental Hygiene Services Pte Ltd, is currently recruiting for a 12-month Private Equity Value Creation Trainee Program (PEVCTP). It is designed to nurture and develop future leaders in the Private Equity industry. We take great pride in our training program, and great respect in the work that we do. The training and development plan and individual learning journey throughout the program is key to us.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, and execute operational roadmap at our portfolio company
- Assist our Managing Director in running day to day operations
- Develop and enhance our IT infrastructure
- Research market trends, further acquisition or business opportunities
- Portfolio support, administration and reporting
Mentorship:
- Each Trainee will be guided under the Director
- Specific Training will be taught by the staff and Managing Director
- Each Trainee will be assigned specific projects with performance objectives
- Each Project will typically lasts between 2-3 months
- Each Trainee will be given 4-5 projects
- Rotate between different functions
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Finance, Arts, Business or Computer Science
- Previous work experience ideally in finance, technology or consulting
- Strong analytical abilities and keen interest in technology, business and entrepreneurship
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude, team player, open-minded
- This role is open to Singaporeans/PR who have graduated in 2019 or are graduating in 2020 or penultimate students who can take a year of leave of absence.
