Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Warmly welcome guests to the restaurant and usher them to their dining table
  • Assist guests in their baggage whenever possible
  • Managing the condition of physical menus and ensuring menus are up-to-date with the correct information and prices
  • Be aware of regular guests, and remembering their preferences
  • Be aware of any VIPs dining in the restaurant
  • Manage reservations and table allocation to maximize seating plan
  • Always smile in all communications with guests, whether face-to-face, virtual or over the phone
  • To gather feedback from guests about their experience and document for reporting purposes
  • Any other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Min GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent preferred
  • At least 2 years’ experience in guest relations, reservations management or similar customer service role
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Excellent, effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-versed in both English and Mandarin, to better assist guests
  • Customer service drive with outstanding communication
  • Keen listener with ability to address guest concerns and de-escalate issues
  • Exhibits a positive and friendly demeanor in all guest interactions
  • Detail oriented to document guest interactions and requirements accordingly
  • Ability to multitask and be solution orientated
