SGR Labs Pte Ltd – Laboratory Research Intern

We are a Singapore based Cultured or Cultivated (cell-based) red meat company producing meat using Stem cell technology. We are  a Deep tech startup and our aim is to change the way in which we source our meat in the future.

• Perform hands-on experimentation necessary for mammalian cell culture including, but not limited to 

• Maintenance of primary mammalian cell lines including recording of stocks, and maintaining a functional cell bank 

• Expansion of cell lines as well as generation of stable/transient cell lines to support multiple ongoing projects 

• Preparation of reagents required to support cell culture work (including growth media) 

• Routine testing of cell lines for mycoplasma and other contaminants to ensure delivery of high-quality material, aligned to current industry expectations 

• Order laboratory supplies as needed and monitor laboratory equipment and instrument performance 

• Perform all other related duties as assigned 

• Accurately document and communicate results to ensure seamless integration and handover with the morning staff
