As a Web Developer intern with sgCarMart, you will be working closely with our team of experienced web developers to manage Singapore’s No 1 car portal with the largest automotive following across social media platforms!
You will also be able to gain real world exposure and knowledge on the web development life cycle - planning, design, coding, testing, review and finally the launch where you bring ideas to fruition.

Job Scope:
· You will be responsible for the Creation and implementation of web-based projects using PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, MySQL, JQuery etc
· Develop, manage & maintain our website (Includes all the nitty gritty troubleshooting and bug fixes)
· You will learn how to conduct user acceptance tests for new features to ensure our website is optimized for cross browser usage
· You will work alongside cross functional teams to design and implement new functionalities
· Propose new ideas to improve and optimize our existing features on our websites
Requirements:
· Strong knowledge of LAMP (Linux, Apache HTTP Server, MySQL, PHP), XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and HTML/HTML 5
· Strong knowledge on object-oriented PHP
· Able to write standard based, semantic HTML and CSS and modern layouts using table-less design
· Committed on producing well-commented and structured code
· Must be willing to learn and able to work well in a team
