The UX / UI Design Intern Role:

Are you a student interested in gaining real-world exposure in design with a focus on user interface and user experience? We’re an established automotive media company looking for talented and knowledgeable UX/UI designers who can bring fresh and creative ideas to the table.

At sgCarMart, the UX/UI Design Intern will have the opportunity to challenge yourself as you will be given lots of autonomy to inject creativity and innovation into your design to improve the overall experience and functionality of our websites and applications.

You will be doing conceptualising, creating user flows, wireframes, and mockups for our websites and apps that you have ideated. You may also have to plan and conduct user research that will help in your design process while taking into account the company’s business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

· Understand the nature and requirements of our business

· Evaluate our current websites, applications, identify pain points, and propose improvements to existing user interface designs

· Plan and conduct user research and user surveys to understand user requirements which will help to conceptualise your design plan

· Create storyboards, design user flows, wireframes, and mockup

· Conduct usability testing, gather feedback and communicate detailed feedback to our developers

Requirements:

· Current Degree/Diploma student in relevant Design field

· Proficient in design tools and Adobe products such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc

· Passionate about all things design and a keen eye for the aesthetics

· Able to articulate your ideas and designs to stakeholders

Internship Allowance:

· $800/Month
