sgCarMart – PHP Web Developer

sgCarMart is looking for a PHP Web Developer to manage Singapore’s No 1 car portal with the largest automotive following across social media platforms!

The ideal candidate should have at least two years of hands-on experience in designing, coding, and executing a web design into a functional website. A strong understanding of user requirements and also good technical skills will be advantageous as this allows you to create a website that is user-friendly.

Responsibilities:

• · Develop, manage & maintain our website (Includes troubleshooting and bug fixes)
• · You will be responsible for the creation and implementation of web-based projects using PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, MySQL, JQuery, etc
• · Conduct user acceptance tests for new features to ensure our website is optimized for cross-browser usage
• · You will work alongside cross-functional teams to design and implement new functionalities and integration
• · Propose new ideas to improve and optimize existing features

Requirements:

• · Minimum Diploma holders or above in IT or Software Engineering
• · Preferably 2 years of work experience in Web Developer role
• · Proficient in LAMP (Linux, Apache HTTP Server, MySQL, PHP), XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and HTML/HTML 5 
• · Knowledgeable on object-oriented PHP
• · Able to write standard-based, semantic HTML and CSS and modern layouts using table-less design
• · Committed to producing well-commented and structured code 
• · Proactive, great interpersonal and communication skills will be a plus point
